Seek & Hide began with one tired apartment in the old town and a conviction that the beams above the suspended ceiling were worth uncovering. They were.
It started with a building nobody wanted
We took the ceiling down and found old oak beams holding the roof above us. That was the moment Seek & Hide really began, even though it did not have a name for another year.
Then it happened four more times
Restoring an old building in central Brașov is slow, dusty and involves unreasonable conversations about lime plaster. We did it five times anyway. Each hideaway kept what was worth keeping—beams, proportions, windows and objects with a story.
A family, and two adventurous daughters
Our daughters grew up around these building sites. They are why every apartment has books, toys, a travel crib and a high chair—and why we know which trail works with short legs or which slope is right for a first ski lesson.
Seek adventure by day, hide in comfort by night
Brașov lets you spend a morning on a mountain and an evening in a medieval square. Our part is making sure that when the day is done, somewhere genuinely comfortable and genuinely yours is waiting at the end of a cobbled street.
